Attractive evergreen shrub or small tree with serrated leaves that are shiny dark green above and grey-green below. Sprays of small cream coloured flowers are borne at the ends of the branches during summer, giving way to round white fruits which are eaten by birds and monkeys. In the garden, this plant will make an excellent hedge or container plant. Protect from frost when young. Used medicinally.
Size 6-12 metres
