Fairly hardy, upright, fast growing, drought tolerant, multi-stemmed shrub with glossy , dark green leaves. Pretty white flowers appear for an extended period in summer and are followed by edible black berries which attract birds. Plant in sun or semi shade as a specimen plant, in a mixed border, or in a pot. Protect from frost.
