Hardy, fairly slow growing evergreen, small shrub with tiny glossy leaves and tiny pink flowers from Oct. to Dec. Birds are attracted to the shiny purple-red berries that follow the flowers. It has a naturally lovely compact shape that makes it an ideal hedge plant for the small garden. Needs full sun to grow compactly, it tolerates shady conditions but then it is a little spindly.
