As with most Plectranthus it should be pruned after flowering and planted in shade or semi-shade. It Attracts insects and butterflies and therefore also attracts birds. Prune back after flowering. Plant in semi-shade or shade in well-drained, well composted soil. Effective as a fly repellent – rub your windowsills with the stems.
